20 million Euros for international research

An international group of funding agencies has announced an "International Opportunities Fund" worth 20 million Euros for international research projects focusing on coastal vulnerability and freshwater security.
Proposals addressing these themes are sought. Project proposals should be 2-3 years duration and with budgets of around one or two million Euro.

The International Opportunities Fund is a joint funding call between the Belmont Forum and G8 Heads of Research Councils (G8HORCs). The countries involved are Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, Russia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. Possibilities for collaboration for non-participatory countries and developing countries exist.
